Photo only: A dark room chemical print.  Will be loose and rolled in a tube. Make sure you know how to properly mount it with archival materials.

Mounted and Matted:  The photograph is mounted on an archival board with a single white or black archival mat.  The piece will need UV glass and a frame.

Wood lite: A photo mounted on a beveled 3/8 inch board.  The photo has UV protection and does not need glass.  It is mounted flush on the wall with one screw.  A wood lite should not be used for pieces larger than 20x30.

Wood float: A photo mounted on a beveled, glassless board with UV protection.  The photo appears to “float” off the wall.  It has a framing system 2 inches behind the piece with a mirror bar/French cleat that is mounted in the wall.  (If you are at an extreme angle you can see behind the photo)

Wood Box: It is mounted and hung the same as a wood float but it has a completely finished edge around the piece.  You are not able to see behind the piece because the edge is thicker.

Hi-lites: Beveled wood mounted on beveled wood. Provides a great look and is very heavy.

Framed wood laminates:  A traditional frame but is wrapped around a UV wood laminate instead of paper boards and glass.
