Canyonlands National Park, UT – January 2005
This can be a busy spot to photograph – I only wanted to photograph it for myself because it is very over- photographed by other photographers. I wasn’t going to make this image available for sale. The unlikely conditions and perfect moment changed my mind. This famous landmark truly was amazing with the snow and rising fog. This image has won awards and I am glad I visited an over-photographed spot.
